Now playing: The Goo Goo Dolls - Let Love in
via FoxyTunes
*Warning, seriously-crappy-rants about music!!! You've been warned!*
Well since I blabbed about music so much here in my previous entry, might as well do some promotion right?
Don't mind me, I need to keep myself busy to stay sane so I turn to my ever-so-helpful companion; my blog. Here's a few artists I've been listening to over and over again
First is Sara Bareilles. I kinda stumbled on one of her songs while surfing Youtube. She got great voice and when she sang live, its so magical. I really like her song, Gravity. I have like 4 copies of the songs all with different arrangements!*Live, Accapella etc etc* But that was from her first album, Careful Confessions. The second one is good one too. Little Voices.
Recommended tracks:
- One Sweet Love
- Many The Miles
- City
- Love Song *this one's really popular now! Made its way to the big screen in 'Made of Honour'*
Next is
Matt Nathanson!!! He's like my favourite singer now! His deep and sometimes husky voice can really sway your emotion! I just love his songs! I'm officially in love with his songs and mind you, I even Googled for his concert tickets in the UK but
heh, tough luck. He's not gonna be here in any time soon.

I just hoped he will though 'cause I'm definitely going!!! Its so weird that I've never heard of him before considering he's been in the music scene for a while now. I found his page on last.Fm when I browse the
'Similar Artist' section

I already have two of his album,
Beneath these Fireworks and
Some Mad Hope. Oddly enough, I'm still not bored with his songs especially
The Weight of it All.
Here's Some Mad Hope;

Recommended tracks:
- Car Crash
- The Weight of it All
- Heartbreak World
- Come on Get Higher
Sebenanye sume pon best so dga sendiri lah ekk ;p The next one is some folksy stuff.
THE WEEPIES!!! Their song is really cute!
LOL The first song I listened to, was
World Spins Madly On, on one of Grey's Anatomy episode. I really like how their song can be slow and catchy and yet so uplifting in a way. I still like that song and I even scribbled the lyrics on my desk back in Cemara!

They just release their latest album;
Hideaway and I being an internet savvy these days have already downloaded them! I've listened to it dozens of times already and keep going back to it, and probably will continue to for a while. This is one of those albums that, although it will not be a classic, it is one that will delve into the listeners mind who will soon be singing the chorus to
Hideaway in the shower!
*maybe that's just me.* This one's the first album that I have,
Say I Am You;

Recommended tracks:
- World Spins madly on
- Painting by Chagall
- Living in Twilight
- Nobody Knows Me At All
This one's the latest one, Hideaway;

Recommended tracks:
- Antartica
- Hideaway
- How you survived the war
Next is
Matt White. Found him on Yahoo Music. He was featured as one of the artist on
Who's Next section. Quite good and his songs are really easy on the ears. Oh you should also check out some of the artists on that section 'cause the other day I saw an Indonesian Band! Can't remember the name but I can understand well what they're singing 'cause its BM!

Recommended tracks:
This one is
Matt Kearney. I don't know if I'm right but his, is a fusion of rap and pop???

Listen to him and you'll understand but I really like his
Breathe in Breathe Out,
*which is weird since the track is not included in this CD* Grey's Anatomy official music video for the 3rd season. Got some other good tracks too. Great CD overall!
*Nice cover too!*
Recommended tracks:
- Undeniable
- Bullet
- Nothing left to loose
- What's a boy to do
- Crashing Down
Up next is
One Republic. I have no idea how I'm stuck with this band since I only wanted the Apologize song at first. I got the album and without even realizing what I was doing, I replayed all the tracks and found myself humming to them.
Weird huh? But they got some good tracks here. And during AI's result night, they even did a duet with Archie, which I found very interesting since Archie has never really sang songs like that, but it turned out good! Good job guys!

Recommended tracks:
- Apologize
- Stop & Stare
- Tyrant
- Goodbye Apathy
- Come Home
Okay this one is really special to me.
*Gedik gile!* Boyce Avenue!

I was looking for Carrie Underwood's So Small video actually when I clicked on their channel. The lead vocalist actually sang So Small with just a guitar! I fell in love instantly and I keep searching for their album but to no avail since they're not really a registered band. They had like three singles at first and were only sold at iTunes and they mostly did covers of other artists like Rihanna, Ne-yo, Natasha Bedingfield etc etc. One day I opened their channel again to see what they've been up to and guess what? They got this video!!!
They've finally released their first album!!!

I was all excited then that I downloaded the whole album on iTunes! It was worth it I tell you! I'm looking forward for their next album already!!!

Recommended tracks:
- Hear Me Now
- Dare To Believe
- Find Me
- All This While
- SUME PON BEST!!!!
This one is one of the earliest country music I listened to but definitely not my first since I'm exposed to country music ever since I was little
*I blame abah for this one
* Their first song that I heard was
'What hurts the most' and that one, was one freakishly sad song I tell you. I really think so!

Recommended tracks:
- Every Day
- She Goes All the Way *ft. Jamie Foxx*
- Still Feels good
- Winner at A losing Game
Another country band that I like is
The Wreckers although they only have 1 album. I mainly like the songs 'cause its the only time I can hear
Michelle Branch sings again. I like the country version of Michelle Branch but I'd prefer the more rocker version of her. Gosh, I still remember her first song, Everywhere! And most of the songs from her first album was quite good. Its a shame she didn't keep on doing solo records.

Anyway, I first heard of The Wreckers on One Tree Hill. They sang
The Good Kind. They're okay, pleasant but not great.

Recommended tracks:
- Tennessee
- Cigarettes
- The Good Kind
- Lay Me Down
- Crazy People
Last one would be
Shawn Colvin. Her songs are quite different from other singer that I listened to. Was introduced to her by
Felicity. Not really a new artist but I just recently remembered her when I was shopping for shirts. I asked the cashier for the name of the song and artist and he told me its Shawn Colvin. Hehehehe

What an odd place huh? But sometimes the band or artist that we heard randomly at odd places are the best kind of band that we can find kan? Like the her or the
Cary Brothers or even
Michael Tolcher, which I'm still trying to find ways to download since his songs are like totally impossible to find! I've searched everywhere! Anyway, here's
Shawn Colvin's These Four Walls;
Recommended tracks:
- Fill Me Up
- Venetian Blue
- Even here we are
- Summer Dress
I guess that pretty much sums up all the kind of music I listened too.
*Gosh, how vain does that sound???* Other than popular artist like
Daughtry, Nickelback, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Celine Dion or Siti Nurhaliza or Anuar Zain or Hujan???? or others yang seangkatan dengannye.
If you must know, this is exactly what happened if orang syok sendiri menulis. Gigih nie dok cite pasal artis. Buku belambak2 xbace dok membuang mase kat sini! cesss!
Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
Nak Balik Mesia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway...
~Bye
Cheers
