Believe it or not, I have like 4 or 5 entries on my iPod that I still haven't wrote on here yet. Those were the entries detailing my trip back home and back here again in Sheffield. I'm back. And yes, there was sadness in that tone. Somehow, I felt really homesick this time. Maybe because I've already known what's in store for me this time around, unlike last year, where everything was still yet to be revealed. Anticipation. It's a really powerful drug I daresay.

Anyway, I got here on September 21st. My flight from Malaysia was actually at 2.00 AM! As you can see, everything went well. I had a layover of about 4 hours in Dubai and lucky for me, I was in the same flight as Odey, Liew and Beya. All of whom, were my seniors back in INTEC. We hang around in Dubai airport together but we didn't board the same plane to the UK. They took the one bound for Birmingham and mine was the one bound to Manchester. Arrived on the same date at 12.40 noon. Had to take a bus to Manchester Piccadilly, which was a total nightmare considering I'm heaving a 25kg of luggage! Once there, I took train to Sheffield. Normally there's a direct train from Manchester Airport to Sheffield, but noooo, that day they decided to stop the route and we were forced to take the bus instead! Here's what the sign says,

Dear passengers, we are deeply sorry to informed you that there would be no train bound for the Manchester Piccadilly Station on 14 and 21st of September. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused. Take that sucker!!!

. . . Well, okay, I may have exaggerated a little bit there, but the point is still there kan? Gosh, I don't know why I'm being so bitter seeing that a week has already past since that wretched incident! Maybe because I'm having a slight fever today. Oh wait, no! I'm pissed because tomorrow's Eid and I'm having a sore throat that its impossible for me to sleep, I'm burning up and tired and did I mention, tomorrow's Eid????? Of all the time, my immune system picked the day before Hari Raya to bail out on me??!!! Well, they didn't actually bail, 'cause if they do, I'd be lying dead, head smack on this desk right now. Which is not the way I planned to celebrate my Raya. Anyway, yes tomorrow, September 30th would be the day us muslims in Sheffield celebrate Eid or Aidilfitri. To say that I miss home would be an understatement! How I'd kill to get on a plane back home to Malaysia this very moment! But, life has to go on. Take whatever it is that they throw at you. Curve balls, spinning balls, rock or whatever it is, use it to your advantage. *stops blabbering*


I shouldn't be writing this at all! Tomorrow's a a very holy day. I should write something more noble or touching or sappy! Arghh!!! I can't think with this terrible blocked nose!


Ooh, I've already received my timetable! Guess what, I nearly fainted when I saw it! Its gonna be one hell of a ride I tell you! Really! Its not really packed but the modules, its not exactly the kinda thing I expected! Lets see, we have Organic Reaction Mechanism, Atomic Spectrometry and Data Evaluation, Changes of State, Equilibria, Biological Molecules, Structure Determination, Quantum Mechanics, Aromatic Chemistry and the list goes on.

*Can someone please just kill me already!*

But I'm still positive that I'm gonna be able to do well this semester.

I can, can't I?

Oh yeah, I may not be able to write for a while considering I still don't have any internet connection. Well, technically, I have but its not mine. Its my housemate's. I have to call BT and set a landline and then I can apply for broadband. Supposedly, I don't have to but that stupid Virgin Broadband said that my house is not in their coverage area! I mean wth??? My house is in the middle of the city center and its not in their area???? Zila's house, which is like at the end of the world *No offense Zil* can even still get a decent coverage, and mine can't??? ~Pfft. Well they say, I'd have to wait for a week or two for the landline installation. We'll see how it goes from there.

Okay, I think I'm done. That's it I guess. Sorry that I was so pissed. I just need a place to vent and rant!
